i had a weird nightmare last night too btw. and its the worst kind of nightmare, because i know its going to come true one day. hmm maybe that makes it a premonition

Seventeenth Post. Extrta Value Meal

I was thinking today... and i realized that i feel like a satellite. i feel like i'm just floating around earth, watching everyone go about their day. living their lives. making little connections with each other. as i silently orbit, too far to interact with anyone, but still trapped in Earth's gravity. you see a lot when you're a satelite, but its lonely up in space.

this picture took longer than it should have, because my art teacher doesnt have an exacto-knife. but i'm happy with how it turned out.

Eleventh Post. Lady

Painted this today in what i will henceforth call my "Anti-Art" class.
i have dubbed this an Anti-Art class because i haven't learned anything about art in this class. the "teacher isn't even a good artist.


anywho, just a watercolor doodle. my scanner wouldnt pick up some of my lighter lines, so i went over them in pen :/


also it cut it off at the bottom. but its something to post... lol

Tenth post. Out of my rut

ever since my job was snatched away, i havent been able to draw anything intresting. it was actually quite frustrating. but then a friend asked if i could draw a "Fansy heart with 'Noel Diaz' in it" and i ran with it. im gonna do more with it. idk what but i'm not done.


btw he actually spelled it "fansy" lol

did this at lunch. pens. it was fun and easy. i didnt even think it looked like heartworms till someone said something. :P

Seventh Post. Unsafe Jellyfish

I like the other Jellyfish, so i went for a more realistic one this time. kind of spur-of-the-moment. oh, i think i'm gonna make one more jellyfish, but i'll use a picture as a reference. i wonder how much awesomer it will look...

We had to make valentines day cards in class. after i was done, i had tons of free time, so i started doodling. this is what i came up with. i like it.


red 'n' black sharpie on cardstock. (which is tons better than regular paper)

Fifth Post. Sketches and Otta

heheheh, i made "Otta" in my art class sorta by accident. i cut up a lot of stuff for a collage, and decided to put a baboon mouth on a bearded otter's body. spooky huh?

the sketches i did while watching a movie with Erica (my sister) i think it was "The Color Purple" but they were fun to do. idk why but using pen makes me draw differently..hmm

well i'm in drawing class at school, so the teacher doesnt have to let me paint. she said that if i wanted to paint i'd have to paint her a picture first (and give her 5 bucks for materials) and that's where this came from. this is actually my first painting, it was tons harder than i thought but it was fun...

oh, the paper is just cardstock, and it warped a lot...

Another collage. i think i'm spent on collages. if i do any more, i'll start to hate them. i reckon i'll try a painting next. but anyway, this was made from the Jan 1st paper. so i guess it represents the new year.
